TD-5 Disinfectant
The TD-5 disinfectant is a single-use high-level disinfectant that is used exclusively with the TD-100. The TD-5 has been tested to effectively kill potentially harmful microorganisms without damaging the TEE probe. Since the TD-100 uses a fresh TD-5 bottle for each cycle, the need for continuous MEC testing is eliminated.
The single-use one-pint container is pierced inside the machine. Splashes, spills, and vapors are contained. An advanced vapor management system within the TD-100 adsorbs vapors during disinfection.

Safe: Glutex II™ has no corrosive acids or unstable oxidizers. Heating is not required. This means that larger volumes of Glutaraldehyde and Ortho-Phthaladehyde based products can be safely neutralized without dangerous heat build-up. Glutex II™ and the neutralized product that is formed are not harmful to active bacteria used in treating sewage and sewer sludge.
AirClean® Systems Glutra-Mats™
Glutra-Mats™ are a very popular product for spill and vapor control, not only in areas that use endoscopy and ultrasound probes, but wherever Glutaraldehyde-based disinfectants are being opened, used, or poured. This product is a Glutaraldehyde-specific neutralizer and is completely dry, making it hydroscopic, so it can pull Glutaraldehyde vapors from the air and neutralize them.
These areas include:
- Underneath sterilization pans
- Sterilization pan transport carts
- Counter tops where glutaraldehyde can possibly be dripped or spilled
- Glutaraldehyde storage areas
AirClean® Systems Spill Kit
Spills of Glutaraldehyde and OPA at a heatlhcare facility pose numerous issues.Proper containment and cleanup is critical to ensure hospital patient and staff safety.
Spill kits are compact and can be placed near the point of use as per JCAHO Hazardous Material Plan requires. Each kit contains materials to effectively neutralize and clean-up small spills up to 1-gallon.
