Glycinex packet contains a pre-measured volume of neutralizer. Simply open the packet and pour Glycinex crystals into your disinfectant. A noticeable color change will occur during deactivation. Glycinex converts glutaraldehyde and OPA into a non-toxic, pH-neutral compound in 5 minutes.

Glycinex has no corrosive acids or unstable oxidizers. Heating is not required. Larger volumes of glutaraldehyde and OPA based products can be safely neutralized without dangerous heat build-up. Glycinex and the neutralized product that is formed are not harmful to active bacteria used in treating sewage and sewer sludge.

Glycinex, when used in conjunction with the AC‑DS‑03 Neutralizer Station will neutralize discharged high level disinfectant from the TD 100 Automated TEE Probe Disinfector.

The AC‑DS‑03 Neutralizer Station will hold four complete disinfection cycles of the TD 100. A single 2 ounce pouch of Glycinex, when placed in the AC‑DS‑03 effectively deactivate the discharged high-level disinfectant from the TD 100. After four disinfection cycles are pumped into the AC‑DS‑03 it automatically drains the liquid into the facility waste management system. Each package contains 24, 2 oz. pouches of Glycinex neutralization agent.
